With a background in events and education in marketing, the leap to the About Town team was only natural for Laura. Catch her daily behind the computer replying to all of your inquiries and coordinating events for our roster of DJs and musicians. If you’re lucky, you may even catch her guest spinning once in a while on TDM’s Twitch channel.

When it comes to DJ’s, Jeff is as talented as he is experienced, engaged as he is professional. Versatility, a deep musical knowledge, and the intuitive ability to read a crowd is what sets him apart. His styles range from top 40, house, urban, remixes, lounge, or whatever the flavour may be. He is able to tailor his sound and style to any venue or event, effortlessly.

A 20+ year veteran of BC’s underground scene, DJ Wood is an accomplished beatmaker with fans around the globe. His “Sky High” EP on Westwood Records is a glitch-funk classic, adorning mix sets by some of the top names in the genre. As a solo artist and as half of DJ duo Wood’n’Soo, DJ Wood continues to bring his eclectic vibes to clubs, festivals and radio airwaves.

Ruel Morales
A chameleon in style with a vast catalog, Ruel has curated acts including 7 string fingerstyle guitar/looping, 8 string guitar/drum sample looping, classical, Spanish and jazz guitar. Whether it’s his use of his 7 or 8 string guitar to fill a room, intricate live looping arrangements as a modern “one man band” or soothingly energetic fingerstyle arrangements, Ruel can create the unique atmosphere that is fitting for any scene.

With his self released debut album, Every Colour, out on Bombay Records, David Morin plays gigs around the world accompanied by a live band. Yet the humble neo-soul singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist still chooses to busk regularly on street corners in his hometown of Vancouver. Like the man himself, David Morin’s music is pure, authentic and from the heart. Self-taught and passionately committed to being a career artist, he’s blessed with the ability to turn strangers into fans.
