Head performer and owner of About Town Entertainment, TDM was raised immersed in sound, and his selections show it. Inspired by a playlist of The Beatles, Elton John, ELO, Technotronic, Run DMC, Daft Punk and Tall Paul, Michael’s musical taste became expansive from a young age. Mixing and flowing seamlessly between selections as genres and decades alike meld together, his unique sound is unmistakable.

Born and raised in Vancouver, Shane has been DJ’ing weddings and special events for over 10 years with About Town Entertainment. R&B to House, Hip Hop to Rock & Roll, Shane can play it all. With a background in music and recording, his keen ear is ready to tackle any event with passion and professionalism.

A Vancouver nightlife scene staple, Johnny Awesome maintains several residencies in and around Vancouver, while pursuing his passion of music production. A love of 90’s, house music, and everything in between keeps Johnny keen on the decks, and ready to attack any event he arrives at. With a background in events and education in marketing, the leap to the About Town team was only natural for Laura. Catch her daily behind the computer replying to all of your inquiries and coordinating events for our roster of DJs and musicians. If you’re lucky, you may even catch her guest spinning once in a while on TDM’s Twitch channel.

Terence | DJ Soo
DJ Soo steadfastly (some say stubbornly) refuses to be pigeonholed in any specific genre or style. Long considered one of Vancouver’s best party-rocking DJs, Soo has spent the last decade perfecting his craft and honing his skills – mixing, cutting, scratching and blending a range of different styles while keeping heads nodding and bodies moving. Equally at home in front of a packed dance floor as he is an intimate lounge, Soo is known as much for his unique musical selection as the intricate manner in which he weaves the music together.

A chameleon in style with a vast catalog, Ruel has curated acts including 7 string fingerstyle guitar/looping, 8 string guitar/drum sample looping, classical, Spanish and jazz guitar. Whether it’s his use of his 7 or 8 string guitar to fill a room, intricate live looping arrangements as a modern “one man band” or soothingly energetic fingerstyle arrangements, Ruel can create the unique atmosphere that is fitting for any scene.
